Job Responsibilities:

Design and/or re-design, prototype, evaluate and implement electronics and electrical assemblies for medical x-ray systems to meet functional, quality, reliability, schedule and cost requirements

  • Scope of designs includes control systems, analog circuits, embedded microcontroller systems, motion control, sensor interfacing, user interfaces, and software
  • Design printed circuit boards, develop, release and revise electrical drawings and schematics
  • Provide Engineering support for various departments including, but not limited to, Production, Purchasing and Service
  • Generate engineering test plans, perform inspections, verification and validation testing

Manager, National Accounts and OEM Business Development (MBD) promotes the sale and growth of the Del Medical Entire Product Line (DMEPL) not limited to Del and Universal Radiographic systems and components, DR both integrated with radiographic equipment and retrofit, CR and PACS, through National Contracts with GPOís, IDNís and OEM partners. MBD owns and manages national account and OEM relationships and is their single point of contact within UMG/Del Medical. The MBD will develop new partnerships that will ensure sales growth nationally which will assist in achievement of the Companyís sales growth goals.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of building strong National Account and OEM relationships. Will be well versed on our complete portfolio of products and will educate decision makers with the viable reasons the DMEPL is their best first choice as compared to our competitors
  • Takes the lead on RFI and RFP responses, and contract negotiations with GPOís, IDNís and prospective OEM partners
  • Translate our product features to customers in terms of end user benefits such as increased patient through-put, improved clinical workflow efficiency, ease of use, best five year total cost of ownership, etc.
  • Quick responses to contract administrators, portfolio managers and OEM partners in all aspects of DMEPL questions including, but not limited to quotation preparation and pricing, system performance, product brochures, etc.
  • Work closely with each OEM partner and their sales team to insure they are well trained and proficient at presenting features, benefits and differentiators of DMEPL solutions. When requested provide on-site or web-x based sales training
  • Use our electronic quotation configurator in accordance with established protocols to prepare and submit national account and OEM specific configurations for price quotes
  • Promote Del Medicals radiographic, DR and CR service training programs to national accounts, IDN bio-medical departments and OEM staff. These programs significantly improve each partnerís ability to service, support and provide their own customer training, resulting in a high level of end-user customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with GPO/IDN customers marketing and support teams to assure all GPO members are aware of UMG/Del contract pricing, terms and conditions, contracted products and services
  • Develop IDN targets and strategic plans designed to secure IDN sole source contracts
  • Develop reference sites within each GPO/IDN and other national accounts to help drive additional sales and promotion of the UMG/Del brand
  • Look for nicheí market opportunities such as Urgent Care, Pain Management, Veterinary Healthcare and Portable X-Ray Companies primarily servicing convalescent hospitals and skilled nursing homes

Electrical Design Engineer

The Electrical Design Engineer will design electrical products per marketing design specifications, combining electrical design and, embedded software design for proper system integration. Assist fellow electrical design engineers and, technicians working on similar projects.

The Electrical Design Engineer will evaluate the design concepts, prepare hardware prototypes, author functional coding and analyze finished product. The candidate will document all stages of work in compliance with medical device regulations. Released designs will be delivered to internal production facilities.
